I do a ton of work based on vectorizing my own hand-drawn images and I do this by inking the drawings as cleanly as possible with a very very black ink so I can scan at high-res and live-trace with customized settings. ![]() Then proceed to live trace or vectorize however your software does that.ģ: Open your pencil drawing in whatever vector program you have/get, then retrace the whole thing with the pen tool or brush tool if you have a tablet.
